All my life, I have had Nokia, S.E and Samsung phones, only one point in my life, I have had the Motorola V186, the moto phone i did not like, found the menu system a bit confusing. However I have been blown away by this motorizr z8 phone that motorola are due to be releasing soon.
They were at my work place today showing this phone, and i am really considering going for it. It has:
2MP camera with 8x zoom
VGA camera for two-way video calling2
Music player and playlists support MP3
Messaging: SMS, EMS, MMS 1.22
Email: SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, SSL/TLS2
OTA download of applications
and games2
Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology
They are just quick specs of the phone, but the actual video quality of this phone has blown me away. It is so crystal clear, it is going to be the 1st mobile HD phone, showing you HD quality movies on a mobile phone. It also has the symbian 9.2 operating system in it, which is even better. I saw this phone switch on in less than 8 seconds, compared to other phones I have had, that take longer. I asked how the battery life is, the guy who was showing me the phone today, told me, he is able to watch 2 full length movies, and still had half a battery life left in this mobile.

I really want this phone now, the guy i was talking to, also said that if you have Sky TV you will soon be able to watch live streaming of your fav shows on tv, all on this mobile. It truely is amazing that they are bringing out this good of a phone. It has a 2mega pixel camera, that does not bother me, also been told it can support upto 30gig memory cards, when memory card of that size is going to be available.
What do everyone else think, of this phone, anyone heard other stuff about this phone? since i am thinking of converting to motorola after seeing this phone today.

I was also very interested in this device until i saw it was constructed of black plastic and lime green even the keypad has been described as being made of cheap plastic. So also due to the fact that both this and the Q9 have still not appeared i have gone for a N95 to compliment my E61 although i am still eager to see one in the flesh and reserve final judgement till then.

marc well the keypad etc seemed ok to me, the pressing of the buttons of the phone etc, the feel of it, felt comfortable etc. The lime outline at night actually glows. They are also going to be releasing a black version, but i was thinking of N95 too, but i am going to be going for this one though instead, unless something else is brought out by any other manufacture that is good as this phone is, or better, for what i need in a phone.
