Hi,
often discussed : the colour display.
Many people say 256 colours are not enough.
Compared to other phones like Sharp or Samsung it`s not much - right - but where are the advantages of a 4096 or 65356 colour display???
I think there is no service needin` such a high resolution. So why does anybody need 65000 or higher?Just `cause it`s the latest? Not really i think...
IMHO 256 colours are enough - in future services will really need higher resolutions and deeper colours especially UMTS but now - or does anybody know a WAP page using 65000 colours?;-))

4096 colours is good enough for a normal phone but for a phone like the P800 65000 would be better. 256 is more a step between greyscale and colours screen 4096. same as GPRS is between wap and umts. some samsung phones a have an external screen of 256 colours that is so useless i think.

superunknown> the T68i has 256 colors.
256 colors was a big thing when we only had greyscale phones but now when it has been on the market for more than a year it feels old. Of course, the same thing is going to happen with 4096 and 65000 - people are never satisfied and always strive for something better.
I wish the P800 would be 65000 but I guess we have to wait for the next model before we see that. |
