P800 will be released n belgium in Feb 2003. It will cost anything between 800-1000 euros. Prototypes were introduced in Holland and they cost around 1200 euros but they were returned by customers for technical problems. It is very obvious that the P800 wont be released until Jan the earliest(thats if u r lucky) in most markets.
It is quite obvious that there r some technical problems existing at the moment but im glad that SE is taking its time to fix it. I would rather have a healthy phone out in the market. However, SE might lose few customers who r very impatient..i hope devilish, pachy and faca wont lose their patience..hehehehe..

? my contacts told me 2weeks before newyear and at a price of 600-800€! and the T68 will be down to 350-400€. |

most  service points are telling the P800 will be availeble before xmas and i've read it some were 2. and belcompany in belgium said it 2. |

Yes.
The most Service Points say that it will be released bevor Xmas. And I believe that Sweden and Germany will be the first.
I must only wait 3 wekks and than I have my P800 in my hands. Yeahh
In the other states like U.A.E or Spain or France, the people should wait till 2003. |

in The Netherlands are saying it will be delayed until Feb 2003  so I guess we have to wait longer then 3 weeks

maby the P800 will be availble in holland after the 007packs; because there only a few country's where they are availeble and belgium is not one of them.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

dont worry m8, am very very patient!! coz I believe that SE is going to deliver a state-of-the-art technology for the tech heads like us!! By the way D_G, which mobile phone you have?! And are you planning to invest some pennies in the P800?!

Hey guys,
The P800 was actually shipped to every country with limited units to the major telcos. Malaysia itself already received the P800 last two weeks with only 10 units. According to the SE in Malaysia, this first shipment is intended for the telco to do testing on their mobile application. There will be another shipment before Christmas and subsequently. Yet, these telcos and SE keep the P800 very secretive as not to be informed on the price and product bundling. I actually got a glimpse on the P800 (trust me, it is not the prototype). That's all I can state here. |

that's the pre-commercial unit. and they received it just recently. only limited people having it to test on the telco support.
still getting all the infor from my friends who work in Ericsson malaysia to find out the exact date for release. they can't comfirm even. but they hope will be before x'mas.
