hey i just got the k790 and i put a full length mp3 format song on to the phone, but it is not letting me use the mp3 file as a ring tone. does anybody know why it might be doing this?
also, how can i use an mp3 as my ringtone on this phone? |

hey that's weird.
but beware, it might be a "fake" mp3.
which means, for example:
it's a WMA file. but somehow someone manage to change the extension to mp3.
yes, it looks like a mp3. but unfortunately it's not.
have you try using software audio conversion?
it might be cleared up there after conversion...

is the k790 supposed to be able to use full song mp3's as ring tones?
or are there any restrictions.. for example on my old samsung phone, it could only use mp3 files up to 600kb as a ring tone |
