WLAN connection to the Internet not working |

Good day to all,
Tried to connect to the internet through my home wireless lan setup, but failed badly... everytime trying to open the Web icon and access a page on the Internet, an error message comes up saying "Can't locate remoter server http://www.google.com" for e.g.
Don't know what has to be done to get my WLAN start working to surf the Internet. Kindly help me.
Plus... I can't locate any Opera Web program in my phone ... just the normal web icon.

Hi all
As wimam is a new member i don't think he can post again quite yet he is using a P990 if some one can advise him i am sure he would appreciate it.

Check ur IP address on ur pc (through the connection icon at botton right). Now add 1 to the last digit of the IP address and put that in ur phone's wlan settings and it should work.
Ex- if ur ip address is xxx.xxx.xxx.xx3 then put xxx.xxx.xxx.xx4 as IP address in ur phone's wlan settings. |
