Hi all,

I just got a T68i and I'm a little confused wiht how to use it..
Just a few questions, hope they havnt been done to death!

1) Where are SMS messgaes stored? Can they be stored straight to the SIM like with Nokia? I know we can't do that with the Phone book.

2) What does MESSAGES, AREA INFO, MESSAGE LIST do ?

3) Is there a way to have the phone book display each entry individually as
NAME and Number entry rather than a list of names ?

4) Are there any ways to change the kep pad tone or the SMS tone ?

Thanks!

Just search for what you're looking for, you'll probably find that you're not the first to ask that question...

HI,

i`am also still a Newbie;-)

to 2)Area Info means cellbroadcasting infos - theese are infos sendet to you by the base you`re using or you`re locked in at the moment - but i don`t know any sinful messages with this service - in future it could be wheather infos for YOUR area - but at the moment it`s not sinful and also not suportet by every provider.

So turn it just off but be careful - if it`s turned on the stand by time of your phone will be less because the phone is always in receiving mode.

So - enjoy your phone!

well I have that when its on silent, the reason I have it loud is cos vibrations aren't enough which is the whole point in having a tone for the SMS. Why did they change from the normal *beep beep*?

Thanks for your reply..

The thing is when i check memory status my phone memory is 7% and SIM is 100%.

But i can still not save anymore messages? Or does the "SAVE" refer to saving onto SIM?

Cheers

By default it will save the message on the phone, unless you you manually save it in which case it will save it on the SIM.

Or least that's how it works for me...
