Hey all,
Long time no speak... just thought you might be interested in a new SMS service available on T-mobile. They've finally cuaght up and added a free balance (and bundles) sms check service. It works on flext too which is cool.
They've also got some payment ones (credit card I think). They seem to run off 150. |

I just got T-Mobile but cannot find any info on how to get balance using SMS. I have to phone 150 and hear a voice tell me my balance. |

You can get your balance by sending "bal" to 150 in an SMS rather than phoning 150... just tried it and it does work and is free too.
Also I've built a Java app that handles the SMS sending (knows the commands and shortcodes to use) for various account featuers. It's called Todget and can be downloaded from http://todget.com. It's free and is currently in alpha testing but should work for balance and allowance enquiries at least. Try it out and let me know how you get on.
