Hi Everybody,
Something funny is going on in ESATO, for months now everybody is speculating the release date of the P800... And even now, it's not officially released. Why don't we all wait until it's really out, and tell our other ESATO friends about it. But now it's only a waste of memory.
Am I right???
Cheers

Well... i persoanlly think there is nothing wrong with all those P800 history.. I mean this is part of esato. We first speculated when the T68 would be out, then we speculated whether we can upgrade our T68 to T68i, when we found out we can, we then speculated when the new software will be available and now, we speculate the release date of the P800. I think this is part of the fun with esato and part of the reason why I come back so often....
But i have to agree that it is annoying when people post stuff without first thinking or having any reason behind it...

You're right Owen....
However, this is an open forum for disscusion, and it is connected to a vast number of people around the globe, so some people may be wanting to seek information about the latest technology, like the upcomming P800, so they keep posting questions about it here. Thats what I noticed in those posts and I dont thonk its of any harm!!
Thanx! |

Here is what my phone dealer just said (translated from French):
"The P800 release has been delayed because the P800
units that were released in Germany had a lot of problems"
I didn't know it had been previously released in Germany.......

Okay, lets settle this.
From someone who works in the industry and has spoken to SonyEricsson themselves, I can tell you that OFFICIALLY, the P800 will be released in the last two weeks of January 2003, in the UK at least.
Thats definate and confirmed.
Expected price, £250-£300 online, or £500-£550 offline. |

To be honest the problem is not when it will be released but rather when can you get your hands on one, just think how many back orders all the shops will have for them, it gonna me tuff to get one.
Email ecollyer@consultant.com 8810 + 7650 + SE T630*HBh-65, i know waiting for P900 to come down in price |
