Hi all. i just wonder what is the max ram you can get from ur p990i. i tried usin memory claim L3 usin swiss manager and i got 18.4

I use chinese version P990i, after fresh reboot + use lv3 reclaim @ smp, i got 17.4mb

I don't think you can get more than that. Remove background pictures and use a theme that's very simple, no pictures etc. Then use Swiss Manager Pro and free RAM with level 3

wow...how possible to reclaim memory at 31% or 18MB free?? any tricks?

I use L3, reclaim few times still 21% which 12.9MB free only.... 14 include hidden tasks running..

Most memory I got was 19.8mb with R4B03 and L3 SMP memory reclaim right after startup, tried time again to get it to reach the 20mb mark but that's the most that I got out of it. R5A17 is not even close to that but it makes up for being more stable which goes to show it's in the memory management efficiency as well not just the amount of free RAM. In any case, 64mb RAM just ain't enough. While I truly believe the P990 is a top of the line all in one piece of engineering, it is definitely far, far from a multitasking device

mine? i only got 16,5 MB on startup. after L3.... max is 13 MB free (approx 21%)..... AFAIK... L3 kills everyhing right? even the activity menu???? only phone apps left. CMIIW.

i never showing hidden task by SMPro. if it's true, than L3 left 14 hidden task running????

I get 16% free ram 10,3 mb but with Advanced Call Manager on cuz I need it. Still sucks, if you ask me.
