Hi,
While some of us still believe that SE is the best and the most innovative etc, here is an example that the world is still spinning and things change and I somehow have the feeling that SE is slowly loosing the battle.

I am quite curios what HTC will present on 5th of June.
iPhone killer?

You can find them here:

Specially have a look on HTC Advantage X7500

This is a true workhorse. SE has nothing like this.

I think SE should rush the P1i quick as HTC might come up with a good alternative.
I know HTC focuses only on the smartphone market but as the boundaries between "dumbphone" and smartphone are starting to blur, HTC will soon be a force to reckon with on the market.

at least, if we don't have an announcement from SE today or next week, here is something to look forward to.

I'm another hanging out for this announcement as I ave been putting off my WM6 purchase until HTC have some more mature products and not just upgrades on their previous efforts.

Hi all,

I would expect HTC to announce their next range of WM6 devices and am sure they will be packed to the brim with the latest tech defiantly 3.6mbps HSDPA and maybe even 7.2mbps ready devices. I am also guessing they will start showing the next gen displays also.

I really do think as HSDPA starts being available in the market it is really going to mean we start seeing some really good devices from all the manufacturers all with faster processors proper graphics chips and of course lots more RAM.

I second that dogmann,..

Also i would like to see some beauty added to HTC phones. I.E. Trinity looks ok compared to other bulky family members Am not too much of a Shift/Advantage fan, but a Trinity phone with WM6, 480x640 screen, HSDPA, HSUPA, 520MHz+, 128RAM+, 3.5 Jack, USB, 3.2mpx or better,... would have been nice! Maybe some preinstalled progs. like Skype?

@intelegent115

Really don't see the need for Skype to be preinstalled as their is an official Pocket PC version available from Skype for those that want and it means you can upgrade to a newer version far easier than if it is on the ROM IMO.

I disagree.
if HTC is going to announce some WM6 devices with big screens that is nothing special.
A major announcement must not be related too much to technology, but a lot more to usability of that technology.
Why is/willbe iPhone a big hit?
Because of its techonology?Sure NOT.
Apple understood that is NOT the technology that matters the most, but what you do with it. So they sell the best usability in iPhone, a device that contains just very modest technology (exept WLAN).
So, HTC must come up with something quite impressive in terms of usability besides a good bunch of technology (HSDPA, HSUPA, >500MHz, WM6 and so on).
That is because everybody knows who Apple is, but almost no one has an idea about who HTC is.

The guys from Pocket Lint hinted that this announcement (which seems to be the biggest one from HTC so far) would be the occasion to unveil a new line of touchscreen products. Now they already have touch screen devices but maybe they decided to implement the multi point touch screen. I don't know how useful or revolutionary that would be for a smartphone UI but hey...

I wish they would give us something like a redesign VOx, slimmer and more stylish with touchscreen.
