Wondered if anyone has experience with the HTC Advantage ?

Um....not a great help, but HTC themselves put me off getting an advantage...

...by announcing the Shift...

....a full Vista-running version! Much more my idea of a 'multimedia computer' than those 'other' manufacturers claim! And won't be that much more than the Advantage, apparently!

I was very tempted by this until I saw it at Cebit. Its big! I had a play and it was everything I expected from the short time I spent with it including a great screen and I like the LCD strip for showing info when its closed, but... I'm waiting for the HTC announcements in the next week or two before deciding on a WM6 device. Actually that one is WM5 though I have read they are planning to release a WM6 firmware update and later an 8" version!

Steve Litchfield has a recent side by side comparison with the E90

and you've probably seen the mobile-review review?

the Shift is ok but for the £1500+ you can get a pretty good sub-notebook from Sony and others so why compromise on a UMPC?

Its gonna have a lot of competition from Imate with their Ultimate range...
I think its the first range of phones the two companies are making since their "independance".
