Just grabbed sw R1D011 on EMMA II today. No clue what's new in it. Just noticed the game Erix is gone now.  |

nope... have updated some T300 but haven't seen any big news...
and as usual hasn't informed there servicepoints about the sw even though it has been out for more than a week...

More than loud enough for me. Never had any problems with that. Compare it with the Nokia polys, and you'll not complain |

I have noticed one thing, after the SW update to R1D011 you cannot connect to old WAP version 1.0 Gateways. |

This is what writes about the firmware:
- Games loaded in factory remains after Master Reset
- Improved band switching when 1800 and 1900 bands are simultaneously present
- Added functionality to support 64 K SIM
- Added functionality to support lock possibility to forward DRM protected files
- Removal of Erix game as default game

Is it possible to update the firmware other than going to a SE service center? Possibly using IR or through MMS? I am just curious, since in a previous post that most service centers don't know about this yet. |

Do you know if it fixes the MMS memory problem too?

Also will my phone keep my T-mobile customizations if I get my phone upgraded to the latest firmware at a service point (only one is in Minnesota in the USA so I'd have to mail it in)
Also, is there a way to get my phone upgraded to this latest firmware in Hungary when I go over there for Christmas? Can they leave my US T-mobile customization intact, can they upgrade with the original US firmware version or do they only have access to their regional firmware verisons?
I don't know how the firmware upgrade works, but I beleive there is a firmware and then there is a customization that's added on top of it. I don't know if the customization is fimware dependent or can the same one be used on newer firmware revisions. Also does the original customization stay intact during firmware update or does it need to be added back on after a firmware update? Also can I get a European Firmware with different T9's but keep my US T-mobile customization?
All these questions are addressed to the service center people who visit this site or the more knowledgeable members of the community who are on the inside track!
Oh and if someone could send me a phone number where I can gripe at some of these firmware engineers and thell them what is broken and needs to be fixed that would be great. BTW I am tired of being the guinea pig and the beta tester for companies who put POS code on the market......

need help,
wanna synchronize my T300 with Outlook, etc.,
but T300 sw is not able for that
Can I upgrade my T300 sw to T68i somehow or it is impossible?
