On the w800i when the profile was set to normal, when i plugged in my headphones/handsfree thing the profile went to handsfree and it went to silent mode, so that if the phone rang or you got an sms it rang through the headphones rather than the the phone speaker.

Now with my w810 it doesnt do this and when i connect the headphones it stays in the normal profile and the phone still rings through the phone speaker although if im playing music it interupts this?

Whats up?? Has something changed. Do i have to manually put it on the handsfree profile as the w800 did this automatically whenever headphones were connected/

yes.in w810 you have to do it manually

You can change W810 so it acts as W800. Go to setup – general – profiles. Then go to the handsfree profile push more – view and edit. Under accessories you ad “portable h-free” and save... Think that’s it...

Sorted it now, theres things that are different on this phone that the w800i did better lol!

Have u seen my post about music files and setting folders, perhaps u know a way round it.

@Kristoffer, thanks for the info - I did feel the need for such a thing, i used to switch to silent when i plugged the earphones in. Thanks again!
