well what ive found not sure if anyone else has is that while in now playing screen of the walkman player,,you press the * on your keypad,so you can lock the phone in this view,,seems good for quick access back to the walkman player after locking it; instead of having to press the walkman button on the side
im also curious to know if this works with other walkman phones the younger and older ones

I think thats a normal feature, it can be done on the w810

you'll even curious to know how good it is to have slide lock button in the side of the phone (swivel phones)...
all se can lock using * and right menupad start from K700... |

It works on K800i too. Both in music player mode and in radio mode. I think this is standard procedure. |

all my SE phones do this (k700i, k750i and my w800i)
K700i > K750i > K810i (current phone)

welll least people know now,,few days ago i just discovered it with my w880 so great to hear this is a standard:) and dont have to worry about getting my w580

Am I missing something here? I have the W810i and pressing the * key when in now playing screen just gives me the option to lock the keypad, how is that a secret?
