I bought a Sony 1gb memory stick m2 card for my K800i last week. It has been working fine until yesterday.

I took a pic, and when it went to save it, it went black, then a white screen for a few seconds, then restarted. As it started up, it asked me to reformat it, so I did.

Now when I try to use my camera, it says "Memory Stick unavailable" and every time I turn my phone off then back on, it asks me if I want to reformat it.

I really don't want to buy a new Memory card, so any suggestions and help would be very greatful. Thanks ahead of time.

If you remove the M2 card and then insert it again, it may fix your problem, since there can be poor contact between the card and the connector in the phone. You may have to reformat once again, though.
