*Just been given another three mobiles to sell for the Hospice, please see last post!*
Me and the wife went round some charity shops today, including one which she volunteers in once a week along with her mum. Whilst in there I noticed some mobiles in a corner which they weren't allowed to sell. I asked about them, and they gave them to me to try to sell online, so here they are!
I am selling these on behalf of Acorns Children's Hospice, and all funds from their sale will go to the charity.
Payment for these is probably best via cheque made payable to the hospice or cash via registered mail. Will PM with payment details to the successful buyer. I'll send the phones on receipt of cheques from trusted traders, I'm sure no one would rip off a childrens hospice... would they?
Post offers here, can be for an individual phone, some of them or all of them. Sorry, no trades on this one. And remember it's for charity!

Thanks for the start Mweb!
Just to add by the way, I'm not really looking for a price in particular for these, though bear in mind it's for charity so no bids of 50p for a 3330 or anything like that!
What I might do it keep this running for a couple of days then whoever's got the highest bid at the end of that time is the winner.

The pictures, as promised:
6310i (EDIT - just thought, this would be ideal for Leeboy as it has 'Lee B' written on the microphone housing! ):
Light Blue 3330, which I think is actually a 3310 as no wap menu:
Dark blue 3330:
Siemens A50:
Siemens C35, scratch on screen visible in the pic, also this might need a new battery as the current one runs out very quick, might just need a couple more charge/discharge cycles:
The old Nokia 3110 and Motorola m3788e:
Have tested the 6310i, 3310, 3330, A50 and C35 and they are all unlocked (just had to unlock the 3310, rest already unlocked! )

Nice one, keep those offers flowing!
As I didn't pay anything for these phones, it doesn't matter what they sell for, as long as at least the postage cost is covered, and maybe a pound or two at least for Acorns, as I say I'm not taking any commission or fees out of this.
Hopefully there might be some more phones from this charity shop in the future too, depends on what people bring in. There's probably more that will come in the future, but I'll only be selling them in ones and twos - what we have here is an accumulation over probably a few weeks, or months!
I'm testing the phones as much as I can too, so far all are working as stated, just the C35's battery seems weak so far.

Does the Nokia 3110 work? |

The older 3110 I'm not sure about, it doesn't power up and I don't have a charger to try it with - the charger socket on the phones is slightly smaller than the standard 3310 et al. charger pin. It may work with a new battery or if charged - but it's a complete unknown!

Right, I've left the phones on overnight, and the 3330 didn't make it intact unfortunately - it's dropped the signal and doesn't want it back! Probably just needs a reflash.
Batteries seem to be holding a fair charge, probably just need a few discharge/recharge cycles, though the 6310i's still reading full!

Very strange, the Voda sim wouldn't get a signal in that 3330, but I've put an Orange sim in and it's fine! Calls in/out on it, gets a full signal... but just won't get one on Voda? Will try other nets later.
That phone might be faulty then, think I'd best sell it as so just in case!

If it is faulty chances are it's only picking up one of the two bands it's capable of (voda and o2 run on one, orange and t-mobile on the other).
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

That's what I'm thinking too, so the phone could be fully working on that 1800Mhz band but not the 900Mhz one.
@leeboy - thanks, though was tempting to sell them for myself as need the money but wouldn't be fair on the hospice, who I'm sure need the money more than me
