I've read a review which says that the CallerID that shows on the headset is just the number, and not the contact's name. Can someone please confirm whether this is true or not.

The HBH-DS970 will only show the number on the caller id display. For numbers that have been stored in your phone with an assigned name, then it will show the name on the display. |

You mean as opposed to sim contacts? |

If you have number stored on your SIM then the caller will display those numbers however you stored them on the SIM. If the number is not stored anywhere in the phone or SIM, then it will only show the number of the caller. Otherwise, if its saved in your phonebook contacts or SIM card, then it will display the name of the caller based on how you stored their names. |
