I've heard about the Meizu MiniOne a few months ago, today Meizu apparently decided to up the spec of their device with:

4 to 16 Gb of storage
533MHz ARM11
128 Mb Ram
Wifi
Bluetooth
WinCe
3 Mxp camera
GPS
Touchscreen
etc.....

Granted it still has to be released and Meizu is quite slow to market new products (cf M3, an mp3 player which ttok a while to come to market), pus it's a Chinese company (no offence but they're not YET as recognised as their neighbour), plus there is the whole I-phone clone thing going on, OK.

But if (and that's a big if) they manage to bring that thing on the market a t the prices they're are stating now (from 250$ to 450$), they will have one upped all the big players in one smooth move.

I really wish SE had enough cojones and whatever else it takes to release something like that.

For those of you who've never heard of Meizu, look for reviews of their flagship product, the Meizu M6 (distributed by Dane-elec in europe). A very nice small PMP in its own right.

pretty sweet. Way nicer looking than iPhone (some claim it's a rip off - visually that may be so, but in my view it's more stylish than the iphone)

Oh well, so it seems my little Meizu friend here doesn't maka a big impression on the ESATO crowd.
Too bad.
Even though I can't wait for the P1 to come out (especially since I've played with it in the SE store), I thought this little fella could grab a few people's attention.

I know it's chinese, I know it runs WinCE but still. Time will tell.

I like the looks of this phone, looks promising. Why can't SE make something similar to this?

For those who are interested, here is new pic released by the CEO of Meizu.
He announced that a few more should appear in a few days.

@remirez

Are they definitely going to market with this? Those specs are indeed amazing.

I wouldn't expect SE to go head to head with these companies and introduce an iPhone clone. It doesn't believe in doing away with the traditional keypad.

Though I expect they will be watching very closely.
