This is the very first picture of a new Serene 2 from Samsung and Bang & Olufsen.

(it is "from the back")

We know that is has GSM with EDGE data, 3G WCDMA, and Bluetooth 2.0.
For me the most interesting part is 3G WCDMA, as i sold my Serene planing to move to Japan, I originaly though that i would go for something like Media Skin from KDDI AU but if new Serene II works in for example NttDoCoMo's network I may go for it...

From now on I would like this topic to the B&O Serene II official one, so let's not create another and new themes every time a new photo pops out...

Please share you opinion.

well, i am a huge b&o fan, but for me serene was a disappointment... lets hope this will be more advanced and no samsung text on the side, one of the reasons, i did go for it at the end

I think for the last two year Samsung did a lot to wipe out the reputation it's name had, so for me it is wouldn't be a problem to has a B&O + Samsung written on it what i care for is design (can't tell much from the picture) and functions as a stated it must work in Japan in my case...

There is some information that Serene 2 (probably will be named "serenata") will have an mp3 player function and touch sensitive control...

if it is true, mp3 player in case of B&O would probably mean a mass storage or and SD card slot, and a sound quality above any expectation, though I think it is absolutely useless in the mobile phone...

well, it would be nice, to have b&o quality sound in a mobile fone, but not sure if they can manage it
