silent mode - if u push # longer, the silence mode will be activated. if u wanna end silent mode, just do the same action again and u ll have the former used profile again
menu key - if u click it longer, the running apps will be listed on the left side in a row. no need to use joysick or joypad to "scroll", just click the menu key again, step by step. if u wanna open any of them, just push longer the menu key and it will be opened.
gallery - when u watch pix, push * for full screen view. u can rotate pix with 5, zoom in with 0. u can use 1 and 3 to rotate the pic. 2, 4, 6 and 8 for up, right, left and down view in zoom mode.
pls share with us your tips and tricks

.... In realplayer, use "2" to toggle fullscreen... (and: touch phone wrongly to start the stupid voice recorder why, oh why...that dedicated button? Anyone else ever thought about superglueing that, or is it just me?)
actually, I think many of these e61 shortcuts work on other symbian phones as well:

... Why the secrecy about those shortcuts anyway??? It'd be one page in the manual!
Or do as operamini do: you tap "#" and a list of all shortcuts appears on you screen!!!
no, instead we get dedicated dictaphone-buttons and other double-/triple redundancy nonsense (and that applies not only to nokias!!!)????
Surely, if voda, e.g., can sneak a link to vodafone live into ever blo*dy sub-menu (not on e61, thank g*d!), the original phone makers could sneak in a shortcut to the shortcuts - operamini is free, hello!!!! They can do it!

that really is weird -works on my 6680, e61, n91 and the n73 I tried... Are you pressing the right "#"-button (you have to hold it for a while...?!)

well, and everything on esato is available elsewhere on the net.... The point is, in the manuals those "tips" are all over the place - so some people quite appreciate having them in one place! So, thanks for expressing your negativity! l o l

the '#' didn't work for me (or others that I read on a few forums) on the first firmware version of N95 and this was fixed with the current firmware. The gallery and task list always worked for me.
Is there a browser shortcut for "reload"? can't seem to find that one
