Hello,
im going to change the faceplate on my w880, i purchased the silver one and now i want a black front.. But i can't open the f***ing phone or find some guide on the internet.. Please help me! |

You need a T6 screw driver if its like all the other SE's ive taken apart. Grap one of ebay.
The screws (not to sure where there located on W880) as a guess u take of the batt cover remove battery and two screws will be there somewhere. Then u might insert a fingernail or thin bit of plastic into the top or bottom of the bit of the back that has the walkman logo on it. Hyperthetically if u get the right side it the clips will come loose then it will come off and screws will be revealed.
NOTE: DO NOT DO THIS TILL U HAVE HEARD FROM A W880 OWNER AS TO WHERE THE SCREWS ARE LOCATED.
I WILL TAKE NO LIABILITY IF U DO THIS AND I AM WRONG ITS NOT DANGEROUSE IF U DO IT THE RIGHT WAY.

WOW i was way off, nothing like ive seen in SE phone before. Id like to have a look where the screws are on other new phones.

Haven't change it because i need the lcd-lins cover.. So i will order it now and then i get a black w880 =) but the sticker at the down on the front will be silver i guess, i cant find the black one and it didnt come with the black front cover  |

what material is the sticker made of? wouldn't you mess it up badly if you so much as fold it a bit? |

So, cewe, did you manage to remove the rubber feet and the front walkman sticker without damage? Is the sticker difficult to remove? Thanks.
