Welcome to Esato. Generally if a phone gets wet and wont turn on then it is dead. The only thing to do is to dry it out completely and try again. If that doesnt work then I expect it will never be revived.

generally the best practice is to remove the battery, asap... then take out the front and back covers, allow it to dry fully for a day or two before you re-insert the battery...
did you do that...

Try the phone with a new battery, you never know it could just be the batt that's faulty!

why don't you send it to a service center and let them quote you on how much repairs would cost? might be worth a try, before considering a new phone purchase...

Hello,
My K800i was emerged in water last week, and so i took it apart and dried it out and it miraculously started to work again, but soon after i needed to charge it but when I plugged it in it turned off straight away and now wont turn on again and wont charge

I emailed sony ericsson and they said to install the update service thing from the website but then your phone needs to be fully charged which obviously it can't be..

So I wondered if anyone knew what I could do, and if i could get it fixed or replaced and how? And if it it would cost? (it's still in warranty)

Thanks alot i Hope you can help x
