hello all,
I've had a search in the archives but can't find anything that might help me fix my problem.
I have a P910i that I bought from a friend. It had his company's IT policy enforced on the blackberry software, meaning that the phone would lock within a minute of being used. The only way I could see to stop this was by doing a master reset, which I wanted to do anyway.
I did a backup using the SE backup and restore, then did master reset.
I then used sync software to load my contacts from outlook.
all went well, until I discovered that the contacts tab does not work. In flip or phone mode I click on the contacts tab but nothing happens. (occassionally when I click on contacts for about 0.25 sec it looks like the contacts app flashes on the screen and then I am back on the main apps menu)
My contacts are on the sim card - I can select them for use on the speed dial function.
Using restore does not seem to do anything, and I have tried to sync with outlook again to see if that would help. Have done lots of turning off, waiting etc.
There is still plenty of space on both internal and external memories.
any help will be gratefully received
thanks
mac
