I'm getting my t68i next week and my father has a Casio QV-7000SX with ir so i can test it next week and let you know if it works.

Cool, let me know! I think the problem is that the dsc-f1 irda runs at a higher datarate than 9,600 (max datarate of t68i irport).

It will be worth a try that may be the max speed, i think they are supposed to step down if the device it's talking to won't connect at the max speed but the t68i times out pretty fast, maybe too fast. at least you're not having to spend £150 on one like i did!! But mine came with a sony dpp m55 dye-sub printer... fantastic print quality!!!

OK..i will try it as soon as i get my t68i, but if anyone else from Hoorn in the Netherlands who has a t68i reads this i might try it today allready..

OK..i cannot get it to work with the Casio...i tried all the settings i could find but...no go..

Bummer!!! I might have to get the communicam then. It's a shame cause i compare the communicam against the cam on the sharp gx-10, and althoug the sharp has lower res, it deals with low light so much better than the communicam, i.e. not at all
