Second day, the two are linking but no sound on headset... doh! If I load the bluetooth Services list for the device, it only lists Headset, where before it listed Headset and Handsfree. I think thats what is causing the problem, but I don't know what I can do to make it register as a Handsfree device. Have tried re-pairing, restarting phone... but no joy. If you force the connection to be created by the phone does the problem go away? What exactly are the problems you have?
