has anyone tried out the voice command on N95 yet? I haven't seen mention of it so just wondered but it does seem quite accurate

you can access it by pressing and holding the right softkey

it seems to recognise just about any name in the phone book without any training. you can access some phone functions such as camera bluetooth etc.

Settings can be found in tools -> voice-comm.

indeed, its a very developed one. do u use voice aid too?

no idea what voice aid is and I find no mention of it in the manual?

no voice aid in n95? the feature where the fone "says" u the time, nrs when u call, read u dialled,received,missed calls and the contacts.

yeah the voice commands in 3rd edition symbian is amazing

i think voice aid is limited to E series

yeah, did the search, only e series got it. weird, why n95 didnt. btw it has the same voice command feature, like 6680.

This is an impressive feature. Whats even more amazing is that it eventually even begins to sound like the main user. Had this since the N80 and its definately picked up a bit of a scottish accent. It will be interesting to see if it starts saying 'willage' instead of village now the wifes got it.

is voice aid the same as synthesiser? because the later is in my phone

in the voice commands settings, there is an option to turn on/off 'synthesiser. dont know what that is

just checked it, donnow what that is, but the voice aid is a separated feature with own icon
