LG are about to announce the launch of a new model that may or may not be part of the Chocolate range. The phone will be called the KU580 and might be branded a "Hero" aswell.
The KU580 looks very similar to the Chocolate Platinum with its touch sensitive red navigational lights and sleek lines. Internet browsing will be very user friendly thanks to the 240 x 320 landscape full colour screen. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera.,FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and VGA video calling.

It is slightly odd looking for a chocolate series phone ( if it is?), I would have thought LG would have made it much more streamlined and even thinner than its predecessors.
basically it isn;t very pleasing to the eye.

it's usefull as an email device because of it's orientation.
We'll only know once we get the app list.
If it's just a normal phone with such a screen then I'm a bit surprised.
Reminds me of the BB Pearl.
Anyway, LG make lovely phones at the moment. If they just bump up their specs they'll be flying.

Doesn't look too bad to me. Yeah, it's a little wide and the screen isn't in my favorite position, but it looks alright. |

LG will launch the 3G LG-KU580 (aka the LG "Hero") Google phone in Europe this week.
The phone comes pre-installed with mobile services from Google, giving one-click access to Google’s search engine, as well as Gmail and Google maps.
