hi, friends
i m a uttarakhand cellone user. i have lg 2050 handset. will anyone kindly inform the setting of handset so that i can access gprs facility?

What are the fields of gprs settings in your mobile, if you post them we'll give you the entries...
And have you activated bsnl gprs, i mean do you get the gprs signal... 'G'...

thanx for ur response, aatuif....i am not able to activate gprs...after completing the gprs setting i hope it will be activated....gprs fields are
(1) homepage
(2) bearer (data/gprs)
(3) gprs settings
(i) IP address
(ii) APN
(iii) User ID
(iv) Password
(4) Connection type (continuous/temporary/HTTP)
(5) Proxy settings
(i) IP address
(ii) Port
(6) DNS settings
(i) Primary server
(ii) Secondary server
(7) Secure settings (on/off)
(8) Display image
hope i hv given you all the necessary information and looking forward ur rply......

lg setting look similar to motorola's setting. only APN will be sufficient for the setting. what do you say aatuif? |

(1) homepage : your choice
(2) bearer (data/gprs)  prs
(3) gprs settings
(i) IP address : blank
(ii) APN : gprsnorth.cellone.in (north, or watever ur region is)
(iii) User ID : blank
(iv) Password : blank
(4) Connection type (continuous/temporary/HTTP) try cont. or http
(5) Proxy settings
(i) IP address : blank
(ii) Port : blank
(6) DNS settings
(i) Primary server : blank
(ii) Secondary server : blank
(7) Secure settings (on/off) : off
(8) Display image : your choice
