I have been to a press screening about the new 007 movie.
The movie is no good... I am sorry for 007 fans
The plot is really poor, you know all that happens before it happens.
The two sonyericcson phones are visible for about 30" alltogether. You have to know they are there to see them (reminds me to those children books in which you have to find something in a scene).

it was intended to be a sort of mix of all James Bond movies. But the satellite is becoming a boring theme now.
Action scenes are good (particularly the one with the Aston Martin Vanquish vs Jaguar) but the rest didn't impress me at all.

I suggest this movie only to die hard 007 fans, because the rest might never see a 007 movie again.
Anyway.
These of course are only my impressions on the movie.

As soon as it comes out you gladly would like to exchange views and opinions with other people.
One positive thing is that the P800 has a better color in the movie than it has on the internet site. Gray and not that king of blue...

What did you think about the movie itself??
Wasn't everything kind of "expectable"

I saw the film on wednesday. The movie is good it just was not great, or as good as it could have been. The major flaw of the movie is the over the top action, and bad cgi in the final third of the film! Apart from that it was quite good! Pure entertainment!
As for the phones, the P800 looked awesome and for some reason the colour (silverish!!) looked amazing! The t68i did ofcourse get a few more seconds of screen time!

If the P800 is hard to spot, where about in the film should we look out for it? Without revealing anything!

Just got back from watching DAD. Pretty decent Bond movie. Too much deus ex machina though. The P800 is in the movie for all of 2 minutes lol. It's in the beginning and Rick Yun is using it. It barely scratched the surface of what the phone can actually do. I wish they could have continually used it during the movie like the Aston Martin Vanquish but I guess that was expecting too much. The best phone sequence is still in Tommorow Never Dies. Love that Ericsson.

Thought the film was excellent! All the characters where really good for a change! No wooden acting bond girls or villains! Though the film owned a lot to previous bond films at least it chose the best ones! The plot and action were very slick for the first two thirds, only the last third was a bit over the top. On the whole bestbond film since sean hung up his walter ppk! Nice that SE advertised P800, but you would have thought they might have put it out for sale prior to the film!

This has to be the best Bond film to date. We know who is is what he does and how he does it. We didn't need to see all that again and we didn't. All previous films were full of Bond doing the 'bond thing' cliches if you please.

This time around the girls did the cliches, they were hard a match for bond, sexy 'with it'. The action was superb and fine tuned. The film was just a little too long for my liking perhaps 15 minutes could have been shaved and it would have been just as good.

The villain was the only let down, far too 'Merchant Ivory' for my liking but perhaps it needed that this time. All in all very good and well worth a look.
