the one that is in the pc suite is weird. it has got a converter to mp4. but if i wanna play a converted video in the fone, it doesnt want to open and play. why?

Well i can't see anything that states which variety of Mp4 it is it appears that what ever it is is not supported by your phone. Convert it to 3.gpp and play it in Real Player on the phone and it should still give excellent quality IMO. But why not download and try the Free Nokia Video Manager there is a write up about @

Comparing it to Smartmovie, personally i use either Media Studio for Nokia or Movavi Video Converter never used the one in the PC Suite.

Hi

I use Plato video to 3gp convertor, very fast and excellent picture quailty. And its free..works wel with built in player on phone.

but i wanted to convert lately an 8 mb avi file ( 2 mins ) to 3gpp, but it was converted after as a 13 sec file, so 9/10 of the clip wasnt even converted. why?

Did it actually (!) convert 1/10 - was there a resulting converted bit that you could open? Might be wrong but don't think it tackles (most) avi-files??? [addsig]

we are still talking about the nokia-converter that comes with the pc-suite, right?! yeah, could be the lenghth, maybe - I know when playing longer clips on nokia media player on pc it can act funny (anything above 5-6mb I can't move search bar etc...) - hmm... [addsig]
