did u tested it? so funny, u can set an alarm 2 times a day and it tells u the local weather. the voice quality is pretty good. next to it no new features, the older version is amazing too imo.

I'm just curious: I've tried world mate on 3 or 4 phones...and I always ended up thinking, "why bother"??? I honestly don't understand why s.o. Would pay for it (if just for the daily update downloads, not to mention the programme itself!)...what am I missing?
my treo has something similar as part of spbplus... It was the first thing I took off the today screen...
Explain the usefulness, please?

Hi all,
Well it comes for free on the E61 and i have no interest in it at all, if i want to check any of the information it supplies. IMO there are plenty of places to browse to with better information, I also believe it must be a bit of a resource and battery hog especially if people set the Weather as Screen saver just not an app that interests me.
Although i have just found a Auto Key-lock app that is configurable not to activate with an exclusion list and also has an audible alert will report back after testing. I think i will be able to set it so that unless i am on the standby screen it won't lock which would be very nice.
