Hi people ive just acquired my mda compact and although its slightly dated its still a superb peice of kit. I was basically looking for something to play with that uses good software and also something with a good mp3 player.
I had downloaded some software for the mobile to play mp3z and my i was impressed by the difference it made against the standard media player. This is a perfect MP3 player platform it has everything that a winamp player has (well almost). Mainly it utilises an adjustable multiband equaliser and graphical spectrum analyser which should be used on music phones.
I had listened to both my K800i and pocket pc using the hpm-70's on mp3 playback and there isnt much difference in the quality although the k800i packs a slightly more catastrophic bass note and a slighty fine output.
I have been using SE as an mp3 player and have come across other mobiles and this platform seems to be the closest rival terms of function and listening to quality tunes if not better. You could just spend all day listening to good music.
