Right guys gonna bash out a few answers....

@[MDS]

First impressions: damn they give you everything you could possibly need!
-Phone & Battery (obviously)
-charger which can work on the continent as well!
-camera!
-leather carry case
-8MB SD Card
-usb cradle, doubles up as charger if you so desire
-stereo headphones for handsfree / listening to music etc
-hefty manual
-outlook and active sync on a cd for your computer
I'm sure I've missed something out!

Pictures... I've only got a web cam if you REALLY REALLY want I could do some.

@denong
Yeah sometimes things do get really really slow but only when you do several things at a time like, listen to an mp3 while surfing. I would say slower than the t68 at times but don't forget the first software versions for the t68 were terrible and this phone has the option to be upgraded over the air.

@swazi
yeah heard about the 1400 stolen from heathrow, they will make pretty paper weights. Orange would have blocked them from the second they found out

Also guys anyone who buys the SPV gets a special deal for GPRS which is £6 a month for unlimited usage! up until April 03

Keep the questions coming I know there isn't a good detailed write up on this phone yet

Right pictures like I said my camera is so poor so I ain't even gonna waste my time but there is a picture of the box and contents at:

http://www.microsoftmobiles.com/articles/spv/spv2.jpg

@pritc_s
yup aparently so, I'm on the case now - believe me

@denong
Sometimes it will freeze for a second or two if you are doing two things at once but it'll catch up with you. best bet is to head into an orange shop, chat up one of the birds and get them to let you play around on it for half hour or so
I don't its crashed yet, just hung for a moment or two

yeah the phone really does come with every thing you could ask for! the only thing missing is a car kit but what they have provided is so much more than i've ever seen come as standard in the box. I'm getting really used to the way it works now, I am actually typing this message from the spv now!!!

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a built-in camera, nor Bluetooth...
Can you tell us anything about Standby-Time? Heard that one has to recharge it every 48 hours...

CHeers,
Rog.
