You know it kind of pisses me off that one of the MAIN features I'd LOVE for the N95 isn't available, but it is with the E series.

Does anyone know of any hacks or programs that can give me those features?

basically u can have plug ins activate on certain things... so when a txt is recieved my e61i will state on the active standby tha i have a txt lol...

same for missed call etc... but it then disappears once i have read the message so my standby screen looks empty until things start to happen... This gives u more options to put into the active standby instead of havin some of ur inbox showin all the time!!! i'll get a screen shot...

WITHOUT

TXT RECIEVED

AND SOME OF THE OPTIONS U CAN ADD ETC ETC

i think its only limited to E series, as E65 also has it and it runs on older version of S60 compared to N95

its not in a feature pack... the e61i runs on 3rd Edition Standard like the E61 did...

I guess its going to be a feature of all E series handsets being business phones etc...

Tis a great feature though!!! Just makes the active standby seem a bit clearer!

that's right. I don't want that damn calendar

I really want it because I receive emails and texts and would love to have the screen show me that. So I could glance at the screen.

well, Nokia HAD to have some sort of difference b/w N and E series otherwise they'd be identical.

am glad they have started making each series have 'unique' features...

Doesnt look like Nokia will b adding this to other series though as on the nokia forum someone mentioned maybe installing it on the next firmware release and a nokia tech. came back sayin nokia dont intend to in the near future...
