I think it's about time we get som new games. I am sick and tired of the games on the sony ericsson site. Do anyone know if it is possible to at least buy some new games at this point? I find the Mophun site a bit confusing. All info would be great... Thanx! |

All the certified games at mophun can actually be downloaded, it's just up to your SP to make them avaliable...
Unfortunately my SP (Telia, Sweden) doesn't plan this,

One of the companies said that they will also have the the games available from web. So you can transfer via ir. Sounds great, but will it not be very easy to pirate them? You can then just spread them on the net. Check qsoccer web site for that information.

When you buy a Mophun game it will be locked to your phone's IMEI number. You won't be able to run that game on any other phone (not even an emulator).

Since December 2002, www.mophungames.com have been offering the whole portfolio (cuurently 28 and rising) of certified mophun games, including qsoccer, for purchase via credit card. They are then downloadable via wap.mophungames.com or from the site to your PC. IR/cable then required. |

I heard that you can see the IMEI number by opening the game in note pad and going to the bottom. After all the junk you can see IMEI 00000000000. I have not bought a mophun game but if someone has maybe you can have a look to see if this number can be changed. |

Very important !!! I found the IMEI code in the file. I'll try to change it but I need a valid IMEI number to test it. If someone send me his email and IMEI code, I send him Syndroid or QSoccer (I just buy these two games from www.mophungames.com) to test them !!!!

I don't think they are so stupid, there is a #hash value or CRC checksum in the file and it will not match if you alter the file.
I don't actually like that somone might prate the games, I buy the them and will get a very narrow selection if someone are pirating all games

I agree with you. I bought two games and I'm going to buy more games...I don't like pirates but I was curious to see if Mophun developers implemented a simple protection method like this. I'm an engineer and a programmer.... |

I tried the notepad hack on the rally game downloaded from:
http://takeoff.to/t300
It did not work me. I opened note pad and the IMEI was 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0. Anyone have a clue why it would be all zeroes? I changed it to mine and no luck. Anyone else try it?
