can anybody tell me why can´t I open some ringtones that I´ve sent to my phone? It says cannot open item? selete item?
is there a way open these kind of files?
what´s the difference between the files that I can open and those described above?
are there any kind of different file formats?

If were talking the tones from my site, it's probably to do with them being downloaded in php format! If thats not it then Im not sure. I remember trying to open one when I had my T68i though and it wouldn't let me and just asked if you wanted to delete it!

what is the difference between the .php and .imy formats?
is there a solution to open these files for editing with some software or inside the phone?

@Ja99ie: the ringtones from your site are great but still I´d like to modify some for myself. What did u use for creating these melodies?

some ringtones larger than 1k, so the phone cannot open the file, i think it's the problem ~~

Make sure there is no white space at the end of the lines. Copy/paste from browser will do this sometimes.

Make sure there is a newline char at the end of each line, even the last one.

Some .php files will be saved in Unix format, so you will have to convert it to DOS/WIN format.

The size must be 1000 bytes or less
