I'm trying to use my K750i as a GPRS modem.

I've made the virtual serial port.
I can connect and dial *99#

but I get `check coverage and data settings`, even though the built in browser and opera work fine.


What's going on?

hello!!! you have to put the data settings on your computer, you have to go to sonyericsson-network wizard and put the APN from your data service and next...next..and password, you have to know the name and password, the same that your phone

I'm on T-Mobile pay as you go. I didn't think I needed to put in a username and password into the dial up box.

the trick was turning off the noauth option. It's working great!
