Pictures names allways begins with DSC0001 when i transfer the photos to my PC ? K800i |

Every time when I transfer the photos (taken with the phone camera) to my PC, the counter of the images resets to 0 (starting at DSC00001) and it's really anoying becouse when i transfer the photos with COPY PASTE allways is showing a message "Are you want to replace the files?" aarrrgghhh!!! PLS HELPPP!! |

@dime - What do you mean . . . the image-count does not CONTINUE, I mean it always record on 0 (zero) . . . I think with just like anything else . . they have this code for images captured, though the image-count should be continuous . . . like with that of Nokia and Digital Cameras too . . . I used to have the same problem. Just set the phone to save camera images to the memory stick.

i think the problem is that you used cut and pasted to your computer. therefore, the files in your memory stick gets erased and the camera counter resets back to 001.
a quick solution could be to cut and paste the files except for the most recent one taken. for example if you take 10 photos and your counter ends at 010, cut and paste everything except picture number 010. that way, the counter won't reset itself.
