Playing music on P910 |

Hey Esato folks, long time no see!
I haven't tried playing around with my phone for some time, but I'm getting back into it again Thusly, I request your help.
I started using a 1GB MS Duo Pro card, and listening to music from my phone instead of any old iPod.
I personally find that my P910 is a much better player than an iPod can be.
I just take out the card, plug it into my computer, copy music there, and the phone plays it, no questions asked. Unlike iPod which forces you to synchronize, removing music from your device if you've removed your copy from your HDD, forces you to use iTunes, ETC ETC. Especially in the later Shuffle generations.
Then while I'm jamming to music from my P910, if friends wants to listen too, I just unplug the earphones and we're listening on loudspeaker! If someone wants a copy of my music, there's Bluetooth. iPod doesn't do this! I love my P910.
Oh and you know how iPod Shuffles are at most 1GB in size? I just carry around a spare battery (to offset the battery killage of my P910) and an extra 1GB MStick full of music, and I'm carrying 2GB of music in my pocket!
OKAY, so what's the problem?
1. The default music player sucks. It takes forever to open the application since it insists on "Updating List..." everytime I open it to change music, stop, play etc. It doesn't do playlists (stuck to folders). It doesn't play MIDI. The "Organize Music" player does, but it plays only 1 song over and over, as you know.
2. I tried using OGGPlay and UnrealPlayer, but while they do playlists and are quicker to load and use, they still don't play MIDI. They don't even do WAV anymore.
So there we go, Esato folks. Any solutions you throw at me is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Naw, Alon MP3 player is GREAT! It's such a big step up from the default Media Player. No more stupid "Updating list...."
But it still doesn't play MIDI
Anyone knows what plays MIDI?
Oh and just one more thing. How big a MS Duo Pro can a P910 support? I'm using 1GBs now, how about 2 GB, 4 GB and 8GB? Are they all OK since they're all MS Duo Pro?
Thanks! |

Alon is by far the best, but it doesn't play midi.
2Gb is the largest it will take, tested many times! |

The P910i can be a good music player if done right.

It is truly fantastic. With a set of Sennheiser MX-500 earbuds it is unbeatable. Far better than ipods or the really shit P990i |

i`m looking for headphones right now for my p910i, but those MX-500 have 3.5 mm jack - are you using some other variant (with 2,5 mm jack)? where i can buy them?
Or you are using some connection/reduction from 3,5mm to 2,5 mm - which one? |

You can get a connector on ebay for a couple of pounds. Just make sure the seller is local as the ones from Hong Kong take forever to arrive.
The P910i with Alon MP3 using the parametric EQ and the MX-500 is the best music device I've ever heard. Nothing comes close.

Hi, imho, PowerMP3 is the best music player for P910i. It has 10 band EQ and fully supports AAC/M4A (Ipod format) music |

Still can't find anything that plays MIDI
Well, except for the other built-in player that you access from the "Manage tracks" option from Music Player. Any recommendations would be appreciated. |
