as "best" is different for everyone you might like to specify a few requirements

N95 is a worthy contender but if you are used to touch screen and want something that has touch screen then its a non starter

windows mobile 6 devices are starting to make an appearance so maybe thats a logical step

touch screen isnt a major factor.

i want and all rounder, with smart phone capablities thats not going to fall apart after afew months ( hence my hesitation on nokias).

which wm6 phones are on the horizon, and what SE phones are on the way, have they improved the m600 & p990 series?

cheers.

@Aqu4rius

Sorry but i really dont understand your comment of

"i want and all rounder, with smart phone capabilities that's not going to fall apart after a few months ( hence my hesitation on nokias). "

As i have a Nokia N93 that is now 8 months old and as good as new, so unless you don't treat your things with the respect they deserve really don't understand this comment at all as Nokia's are built every bit as good or bad as any other Manufacturer's devices.

well i use my phone out and about constantly, all day everyday, so it occasionly gets dropped/sat-on e.t.c and in my previous experience (over 12 years of different phone usage), alot of the nokias have been abit on the flimsy side.

im not having a pop, just my opinion.

@aqua - Why not contemplate on other brands . . . like: Samsungs, Dopods, XDAs, Blackberrys etc. etc. [addsig]

just done a little search, the HTC P4550 (HTC Kaiser) looks quite promising.
