I'm sure this would only ever be for sunbathing, but I also highly doubt it would ever go into mass production like the Scottevest products in which some can have solar charging

When I was in Turkey last year, I saw so many people with iPods in their ears whilst sunbathing. This would be great for them.

looks impractical for swimming - I have a more pragmatic (read: cynical) application: death row inmates could wear those
a) it looks humiliating
b) they spend too much time in the sun, absconding...they get sizzled...
easy on the tax-payer and the environment!!!!
