Anybody have any problem with the reception!? After a year of use, the reception singal bar tend to fluctuate a lot. It jumps from 1 to 4 and 4 to 2, etc... and so very often I drop calls and sometimes cant even dial out. Anyone have the same/similar problem?

Yes exactly the same problem after about a year of use, i put up with it for a while because my service centre is far away, then one day i tightened the little metal clips that hold the sim in(on other t68`s i have noticed these clips have been lengthened a bit,maybe a later mod), i was VERY carefull when i did this, BUT at the same time i unscrewed the front cover and brushed & blew (compressor or cycle pump) all the dust out & it has not done it since, now i clean it every couple of weeks. ...ps, button problems are also dust related sometimes.

@Dumbdumb

I had the same problem with my T68m. I got it fixed, and apparently it is a circuit called N400 (or something) that controls the amplification of the radio signal that had broke.

Symptoms:

Often have to try several times before being able to make a call

Dropped calls

Cannot send SMS sometimes

People get redirected to your voice mail even though the phone is on and reception seems to be good

Reception indicator varies a lot.

After the exchange of the circuit the T68m worked just fine!
