what the hell,
too costly, better one can get a k790- just 2k more or a k550, at 11k
or the all time K750 or w810

Were you expecting it for 8K or what?

Its an upgrade from 810i and hence the price. Its ideal, IMO.

SE has never overpriced their phones (except the 880i)

atleast we had expected it cheaper by 3-4k. at least at the same price of k550!!. can you let me know what it can do better than a K750 or w810.?

i think you hav enjoyed the music of w610. hav you listen the music in a K750.? whats the difference.? whats the difference bw Walkman1.0 & Walkman2.0.
apart from music, its screen looks brighter (same as k550), but it must be lagging in camera quality. k550 and k800/k790 has 3MB of java heap size(multitasking), whereas w610, w880 and old models K750, K700, w810 have only 0.5 to 1.5MB. these are also some parameters that one should consider.

It seems costly..one of my friends said that in his town it is retailing aroung 12.5 K which seems a good price

Its bundled with mps 60 portable speakers which alone costs 1600 rs. In delhi its 14500 with bill not a bad deal at all.

U r wrong this time buddy. W610, k550,w880,k790 and even k610 runs on same java platforn.

i am talking about the heap size of java,though all have the same plateform-i.e. java
more the size the more java app. you can run at the same time. in case of k550 and k790 you can run 3-5 app. at the same time.
