I have just finished the first release of my Ericsson Background Image beaming software for the Palm. You can download it at:
www.nutz.freeuk.com/xmob.zip
It is a very early beta release that probably has loads of bugs. Included is a database of all the images available at www.xmob.co.uk

It'll be the database that won't fit, it's got over 400 images in it. I'll be creating some smaller ones shortly. |

Sorry, but the pictures wasn't fun at all... I didn't find anyone to use. *sigh* Why can't some more girls find this fun? We need more cute cartoon backgrounds!! 
PS How do you do a prc /pdb to Palm? I want to to one for my self... with cute pictures... DS |

As it says in the readme, future releases will include a Windows app to add your own images. This is a very early release.
One idea I'm working on is that you select the images you like at xMob then download a tailor made pdb file. This will be long in the future though.
Synsop, if there's something in particular that you'd like and can't create yourself, make a request at xMob and it may well appear. |

You’ve made a great job, but why don’t you simply use the FunnyPhone software...?? It’s very well made, you can send pictures and also melodies from the Palm to the T68, and you can also very easily transfer your own pictures from your PC to the Palm with PDBmaker...!?!

why don’t you simply use the FunnyPhone software
It's great that @xmob is investing some of his time in this kind of project, this only means that we get choices.

Choice is good! Besides, I wanted to do it anyway, as a kind of project. Melody support can quite easily be added but it was never planned.
The strong point of the software is going to be in the Windows pdb maker. This will be fully graphical and allow you to create categories of images etc..
At least it seems to be working on other peoples Palms, not just mine. |
