Hi, not been on here for a while. I've just sold my T68i and have got a T39m for the meantime until I can decide what to get next.

Anyway I've been having a play and it seems to be locking up quite often. When I select bluetooth, tennis game, master reset, and probably others too.

Ive tried to check out the software version but it freezes when I select the option to view it in the service menu...

Any thoughts or should I just take it to the Carphone Warehouse and see if they will upgrade my firmware (I bought the phone second hand, but I am a CPW customer)

Cheers for any help...!!

a software upgrade will probably not help... it has a memory error...

trying to upgrade it can make things worse, you might end up with a non-working phone.... or just that it breaks the updating process and the error still remains...

Thanks for the reply. So it looks as though im buggered then. I only just got it today. Is there no options available other than trying to get it repaired. The general workings of the phone are fine its just certain things. But it seems to be always the same things not random!!

Cheers

no... in cases with memory errors there isn't much to do...not much the servicepoint can do either...
