When the MMR-60 was released, everyone reported problems about transmission being weak. I remember reading that SE recalled them and have since then released an updated version of MMR-60 that includes a fast port charger at the bottom.

Question:

Has anyone used the updated MMR-60? Is it worth the money and does it actually work (transmission)? Or is this accessory still a joke!?

Please let me know your experiences. Thank you and best regards!

I have one. Agreed it doesn't have a strong signal but when you want to play music through the radio, do you really need to place the phone so far away from the radio?

in all cases I use this I place it right beside the radio and it works perfectly fine if you get the frequency right

its the same story with bluetooth, many want it to reach 10m or more away but most of what I do is with my pc or another phone and again in all cases I am in close proximity. bluejacking might be an exception but really, most of us surely have better things to do and only bluejack once in a while

for £15 the mmr-60 is worth if for the times you would like to play your music to others but if you dont feel its worth that then not much more will get you the SE mini speakers (MPS-60) which have fantastic sound output for their size

hmmm, depends on where you aerial is then I guess. if its at the rear you might get marginal results

to be honest, I got this as a bargain but I've been using another product for years, which I have rarely seen availabale elsewhere but you could look at some of the ipod offering with a 3 1/2 mm jack and just buy an SE to 3.5mm adaptor adaptor

some people here have also provided themselves with a 3.5mm socket coming out of their car hifi but I'm not that technical so wouldn't attempt that myself

Some car's head unit have AUX in sockets either at the front or the back of the unit. You can use that as an input for the phone by getting a 3.5mm to RCA adapter.
