Hi! I just got a T68 on the 1st of Feb. The last phone I had was a 7110! And was a bit sceptical about the move to an Ericsson but now ive got my head around the texting on an Ericsson im well made up!
A few problems though -whenever I use that My Picture program I can always download pics to the phone, - but can never seem to upload a picture from the phone to the computer. -Why is this.
Also, I got the Handset manager for the T68 the other day. I had a copy of this for my 7110 too but apparently because Windows 95 (my OS) hasnt got an advanced enough IRDA protocol it wasnt compatible. It doesnt work for the T68 either, -is this because of the same reason???
Also, I dont know if any of you have this problem, but when I go into my WAP menu - in the 'Enter Address' , section, the addresses Ive entered seem to be entered permanently and I cant seem to delete them! Any1 know how I can?
Finally, does anyone know of any good backup programs available for the T68 which will allow me to backup the contents of my phone book? Im returning my phone to the store soon to buy one on the internet because theres a better deal from the online store.
P.s. - How long has this site been up4? Its well wicked!!!
Any help appreciated.
Regards

I know you can get some software to backup your contacts etc from here:
http://www.christersson.org/www/default.asp
You have to download some software from the Sonyericsson site first, just follow the instructions.

Welcome to our family then. Its a little bit big, but doesn't matter. You don't have to use my pictures to send files to your PC. You can connect by IR, bluetooth, or via cable and sent it from your phone. I just did it succesfully. Go to Fun & Games-->Background-->send my picture.
Our T68 can directly syncronized with MS outlook so if you have it it not required any other program to backup your contacts or your calendar. All you have to do is to go to site and download the necessary files which help you syncronize your phone with outlook.
Wap entries: You cannot delete the addresses, but I suppose if you rich a number then you can replace them. I don't know it for sure, but I think I have read it here in Esato. Hope to help you.

Welcome Nish
About the Wap-adresses,..I do believe too, that once you reached a certain number, the oldest adress will be deleted, when you write in a new one

Thanx Guys!
I found a way to delete the enter address thing- all I done was to use the master reset! Doesn't really matter much, coz Im giving the fone back later. Was gonna buy it again from an online store because I get three months free line rental and insurance. But now im wonderin whether to wait for the new software upgrade to come out. People are saying Ericsson are gonna charge for this- is this true? Coz if it is Id be better off waiting for the new software enabled fones to come out wouldnt I? |
