Can Anyone Update My N73? |

Hi all not got the bottle to do it myself also the Nokia Updater wont run on my comp anyway. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to flash my N73 to a ME Edition? Also reset the lock code if poss. If anyone would kindly do this for me then let me know.

Have you not got a nokia service centre near you? They will be able to update it free of charge for you.

u cant reset lock code, its a bb5 fone, so follow mr miyagi's advice and visit a nokia center

Hi there the nearest one is a CPW but i dont like them as they dont have a clue near me lol. Id prefer somebody on here tbh. But thanks for the swift reply!
Reason i need it updated... Its VERY slow. It takes 1minute to send a txt! Also id like album art and stuff

actually, if u change the product code to a ME one, then u can flash it online too...
what code must be changed, the fone lock code?

you can get the unlock code from your operator if you're prepared to pay
btw, would a nokia service centre change a standard N83 to a music one? I would doubt htat very much as I couldn't see them changing the product code for a start, and it changes the nature of the phone that was purchased. I know that no SE service centre would do such a thing (e..g changing a K750 into a W800)

Just to confirm it is a Sim Free N73
It seems its running very old FW too. Maybe the first version...
And i need the lock code as the default 12345 has been changed  |

as mentioned before, its not possible to "read out" the code from a symbian fone, as its possible in average at many fones. nokia can do it for u, they got the right tools for such actions.

indeed, its an old fw, but u can upgrade it on nokia website

NSU won't run on Vista, I've tried in standard mode and various compatibility modes.
actually it will run but it won't detect that the phone is connected, even though the system tray message appears saying the phone is connected and I can use the pc suite
I've googled this and find no work around so we're waiting for a vista version of NSU
