@ Laffen and all esato forum users
Why dont we organise local meetings twice a year in our respective capitals we could invite  and nokia etc to come and talk\show products
you could use it to raise money for the forum
its not to hard to do.

but its only 2 times a year eg:
Jan 2003 - london
May 2003 - birmingham
etc.......
Amsterdam Jan 2003 we could have meets on the same dates and like the meetings over the web
the reps could come along with reps for other manufacturers
how cool would that be
could use us to gain info about what phones need

Laffen and myself would not mind trying to set something up in the Oslo area. The trouble we face is basically knowing who lives in the area. When members put in their profile that they come from Nowhere, Planet Wierd and things like that it is impossible to even guess how many potential guests there might be.

I would be interested in some sort of event in the UK.
(Looks like just you and me gadgetboytom!!) - perhaps a Macdonalds rather than a conference centre would be sufficient!!

I think its funny that this idea came up, i was thinking something along these lines after reading the pinoy posts about the user group. I think its a great idea, and i am VERY interested. Maybe you could post the idea in the uk thread, and all other region forums?
