Mine is debranded and i dont have Playnow. I dont have the sony ericsson links in the main folders(pictures, sounds, videos) neither. Is this consequence of debranding or what?

you don't have playnow because when you debranded/full-flashed your phone, you (or whoever provided you with the flash files) did not include the original SE links in the custfiles (customized files). most users prefer not to have original SE link in their phones. this is probably why your flash files doesn't have it as well. but you can return the links back by reflashing your phone again with the specific original SE links included in the custfiles.

or you can update your phone via SEUS and maybe it can install back the original SE links.

I just had a doubt about what masseur said. Masseur said that debranding would bring the playnow back, so i have my phone debranded and dont have the playnow. I dont even want it back. It's ok this way.

I was under the impression that was gonna revamp the playnow service and re-introduce a full track database where you could search by artist etc.

There is a news item on it somewhere. Maybe that is why it has been taken down for the time being.

EDIT: M-buzz is what I was thinking of.

From the SE site

To maximize its reach the new M-BUZZ initiative will use both Sony Ericsson’s established PlayNow™ service, which has been enhanced to include full track music and allows consumers to download music to Sony Ericsson phones in just 4 clicks, and the web (www.m-buzz.com ). M-BUZZ will enable music fans everywhere to experience featured artists’ full tracks, videos, biographies, gig schedules and other content, allowing them to check out tomorrow’s stars up close and personal.

No sign of it yet though.

Wotan helps to flash your phone... Brings it to the original state... That, i think, would bring back playnow...
